“Family-run firm SkinBase praised for boosting Staffordshire’s growing reputation as a digital hub through its cutting-edge solutions”
Celebrating Again
We are celebrating again after taking home the Digital Award at this year’s Staffordshire Chamber Awards. Established in 2005 by sibling duo Richard Faulkner and Leesa Keys, there are currently over 2,200 salons subscribed to our PAYG platform.
The SkinBase team works with accredited salons across the UK and Ireland, providing equipment to salon owners, spas and beauty therapists. All machines come with accredited training and ongoing support from our head office team.
Owner, Richard Faulkner said: “Since launching the business from our mother’s kitchen table back in 2005, we’ve worked incredibly hard to establish ourselves in the market and it’s truly humbling to see how far we’ve come since then.
Increased Demand
“Over the last few years, we’ve definitely seen a rise in demand for non-surgical beauty treatments and so it’s been a priority for us to continue to deliver a service that’s accessible across the UK – but further afield too.
“We’ve always been keen to embrace the latest technologies and platforms to ensure our ever-growing customer base receives the most seamless and professional service. We know we couldn’t have done it without our fantastic 20-strong team at SkinBase HQ. This award is yet another testament to the team and proves to the industry that we’re doing some ground-breaking work in the beauty sector.”
SkinBase recently took home four awards at this year’s National Beauty Awards including “Best Advanced Treatment” for the second consecutive year, ‘Best Use of Social Media’, ‘Best Training Provider’ and ‘Best Customer Support’.
Nationwide network of therapists
Through a nationwide network of therapists, the firm also offers Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) equipment and treatments, which offer a range of benefits including permanent hair reduction, improved skin pigmentation, banishment of fine lines and eradication of rosacea.
SkinBase’s latest offering is the much awaited Collagen Lift treatment, which uses the body’s own natural healing response to lift, tighten, firm and smooth out the skin. The deep heating action of the treatment allows collagen to regenerate and can be used as a natural, non-surgical alternative to anti-wrinkle injections and fillers.
