(1) Risk-Free Commitment
When you join SkinBase on a pay-as-you-go contract, we only ask that you keep the machine for six to twelve months depending on your contract, and pay a small minimum weekly fee, depending on the machine you choose. We also offer a two-week free trial with CL and MD so you can decide if the machine is a good fit for your business before committing to the six months. IPL does not come with a free trial, however we will make sure you are ready to introduce IPL before you commit to go ahead with your training. Therefore, you have zero commitment to stay with us long-term (though we know you’ll want to!).
If you choose a SkinBase PAYG payment plan for the Microdermabrasion machine, you are protected with a money-back guarantee. We are certain that you will perform enough treatments in the first six months to make the machine successful in your business. If you don’t, we will refund the shortfall to you*. Therefore, the risk is removed entirely from the decision, and you can happily join SkinBase without worries.

(2) Upfront Costs
To join SkinBase there are no upfront costs for the Microdermabrasion and Collagen Lift machines. You do not have to pay us a single penny until the end of your trial – during which you have the opportunity to make up to £1000.
Our PAYG plan works slightly differently for those who join SkinBase with an IPL machine. We require a fully refundable deposit of either £1000 or £2000, depending on your contract length (12 or 6 months). In return, you receive the SkinBase IPL Machine, along with:
- 2 full days of ABT recognised training (worth £800)
- A Laser Protection Advisor (LPA) certificate, if required in your location (worth £700)
- Treatment protocols
- Local rules
With IPL, you also have the opportunity to join SkinBase with a PAYG Unlimited plan. You can perform as many treatments as you like and save money with a fixed weekly charge of £100+ VAT.
(3) Weekly Billing
Our pay-as-you-go contracts are billed weekly, so you can easily keep track of your usage and costs. An SMS will alert you to how much will be debited each week and you can access all invoices by email and in our online portal. Therefore, with pay-as-you-go, you perform the treatments, and we deal with everything else.
(4) Consumables and Skincare
When you pay-as-you-go, all replacement parts and consumables are provided, including crystals, handsets, and filters, at no extra cost for each SkinBase machine.
On a pay-as-you-go plan you will additionally get the SkinBase Essential products required to perform your treatments in every service pack you receive. These vary depending on which treatment machine you take on. All include professional, high quality, vegan and MI free products – you can also retail these to clients.
(5) Training and Support
Each SkinBase machine comes with comprehensive training from our experienced educators. With a PAYG IPL machine, you receive two free days of ABT recognised clinical training and ongoing support. If you choose a SkinBase Collagen Lift machine, we provide ABT accredited, in-depth training so you can confidently and safely perform the treatment on your clients. The Microdermabrasion training we offer is free and Beauty Guild Accredited. Our experienced SkinBase™ trainer will demonstrate the MDPro system and how to use the handset correctly. You will be confident in your method when launching. After completing training, you will receive a personalised certificate and a “SkinBase™ Authorised Professional” badge.
