This year it falls on a Wednesday, so consider making the whole week a special occasion.  Introduce it on your socials. Make sure everyone knows you will be offering International Women’s Day specials that week. This is the perfect occasion to promote your services.

Referral Program

Launch an International Women’s Day referral program. An easy way to gain new clients, tell your clients to bring a woman in their lives with them. Give free add-ons during their treatments. Turn a Microdermabrasion facial into a luxury facial. You can’t beat word-of-mouth recommendations. Reward all your loyal clients who introduce a friend.

Offer Treats

This is the time to celebrate being a woman.  Spread the joy and give out goodie bags to your customers throughout the week. They don’t have to cost a bomb. Make them feel special with a bag full of goodies. It could be chocolate, notepads, samples – and vouchers for their next treatment.

Customise Treatments

Customise your treatments to the different types of women your clients are. Offer relevant specials to old clients or busy mums. Think about what they want individually and reach out to them. Customise your message to make them feel extra special.

Gift Cards

Offer gift cards. This is a great way to engage with everyone who wants to treat a special woman in their life. Have them on show at your counter in the salon, and promote them on social media in the weeks leading up to Women’s Day. Make them available online for any last-minute shoppers.

Host a Party

Host an International Women’s Day party. Choose a theme and whip up some excitement on your social pages. Start with some bubbly and canapes – and decorate the salon. Send invitations and encourage your clients to post about it on social media. Ask them to follow and tag you. Reward your staff for staying late by giving them time off after the event.
